Meet The Winner
FM Pneus
FM Pneus is a fast-growing retreader based in the town of Miravilha in Brazil. The company operates six production sites covering the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Parana, Mate Grosso do Sul and Sao Paulo. This year the company has been particularly active, acquiring two retreaders Tyresblue, based in Gaspar and Warmor Renovadora de Pneus from Itajaí as well as opening its sixth plant.

Gummiservice Produksjon
Gummiservice Produksjon AS has developed into one of Norway’s leading retreaders, offering tyres for both larger and smaller vehicles, buses, trucks, construction vehicles and cars. The company has a clear focus on sustainability, through environmentally oriented production and operations. Among its many customers, Gummiservice serves Vy Bus, an important fleet based in Sweden and Norway and operating in passenger transport, which has shown great attention to the issue of sustainability.
Kayel Tyre Retread
Kayel Tyre Retread is a Malaysian retreader, part of the Kit Loong Group. The company is one of the largest retreaders in the country with a highly developed fleet management network. It is also the first retreader in Malaysia to gain ECE 109 certification.
Medina-Med
Medina Med is Kraiburg dealer based in Bulgaria. The company has recently invested in establishing its own hot cure retread facility , also in conjunction with Kraiburg. The investment required for this was subsidised by the EU. The company is also investing heavily in expanding its OTR retreading facility, this time with funding from Innovation Norway, and has also developed at tyre recycling facility in co-operation with a local tyre dealer.
Seryt Tyres
Seryt Tyres is a UK based retreader with a particularly innovative and pro-active marketing approach combining manufacturing and wholesale, together with the supply of equipment and consumables for retreaders and the tyre trade. Seryt currently manufactures precured retreads using Kraiburg retreading materials, but also markets a range of hot and cold retreads from UBO from the Netherlands and Insa Turbo from Spain as well as with Bridgestone’s UK retreader network including both Bulldog and Bandag. The company has the stated aim of being the biggest in Europe at selling retreads.

Kayel Tyre Retread
Kayel Tyre Retread, based in Malaysia, claims a position as South East Asia’s largest retreader, selling its products across Asia and Australia. The company, which has the capacity to manufacture 1000 pre-cured retreads per day, has made major investments in state-of-the-art machinery and RFID tracking in recent years. Kayel operates the offtake for 2 of the top 5 tyre manufacturers in the world and is currently in the process of obtaining UNECE R109 certification, which, if achieved, will make it the first retread organisation in Asia to obtain an E-mark for its products.
