Chen Jet How is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Kit Loong Group, which is known as being one of the pioneers of the tyre distribution and retreading industry in Malaysia. Mr Chen enjoyed a career that spanned over 60 years and oversaw the Group’s rapid growth from local retreader to international manufacturing and trading group. Some of his key achievements include and are not limited to: establishing its first retread plant in 1959, starting South-East Asia’s first tyre industry publication The Tyreman, overseeing the production of the country’s first precured truck retread and opening the Kayel tread rubber factory in Prai
Marvin Bozarth is perhaps one of the best known and most recognised individuals in the North American tyre retreading industry. A larger-than-life figure, he is best known for his role as Executive Director of the International Tire and Rubber Association in the 1990s, but has had a long and varied career in the tyre industry. Bozarth spent the first 20 years of his career at Purcell Tire & Rubber Company, based in Potosi. Missouri, latterly as Vice President Manufacturing before moving onto is role at ITRA, a predecessor organisation of the Tire Industry Association (TIA), where he later became Executive Director, a position he filled until January 2002. He remained active with TIA as a senior technical consultant until 2018.
