    Meet The Nominees

    Central Marketing

    Central Marketing, based in Colonial Heights, VA, has been a leading distributor of tyre retreading equipment and accessories in North America for the past 35 years. The company is the nominated agent in North America for a number of key equipment and accessory brands, including CIMA, MAE, Matteuzzi, SDS and VMI.

    Tech Europe

    Tech Europe is the European subsidiary of Tech Rubber Company (TRC), based in Johnstown, Ohio. The company is a global leader in tyre repair field offering products such as repairs, carbide cutters & wheels, envelopes, expanding chucks, buffing blades, grinding stones, as well as supporting chemicals and tools such as extruder guns. The company owns several key brands including Tech, Pang Industrial and Salvadori, and has establish a close working relationship with key players such as Bridgestone-Bandag, Goodyear and  Kal Tire amongst others.

    TRM

    TRM is the Marangoni Group’s retreading machinery division, offering a full range of retreading equipment for both hot and cold retreading including inspection, equipment, shearography machines, buffers, cushion gum and precured tread builders, tread and sidewall extruders, curing presses and autoclaves, as well as the capability of putting together turnkey plants.

    Vipal Machinery

    Vipal Machinery, formed in 2015 is the fast-growing division within Vipal Rubber responsible for developing equipment for the tyre retreading sector. At this stage, the company’s equipment range consists primarily of buffing and building equipment, including the now established VR01 Smart Buffer, with sales being achieved primarily in Latin America, North America and Oceania.

    VMI

    The VMI Group, which is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary, is a major supplier of equipment and technology for new tyre manufacturing and retreading industries. In the retreading sector, the company is best known for its RETRAX extrusion and tread building technology, which it acquired when it acquired AZ several years ago. This technology is used in the majority of truck and bus tyre retread plants in the USA and Europe. The company also has subsidiaries operating in South America and Asia.
