    Meet The Nominees

    Dario Andreani – INSAMAR

    Dario Andreani has been the CEO and Chairman of Chilean Retreader INSAMAR, based in Valparaiso, since 2010. He is also the founder of Sustrend Technical Consultancy, which has led separate consultancy projects to standardize the Chilean retread industry and to achieve a Nationally Appropriate Mitigating Actions (NAMA for the Chilean retreading sector. He was one of the leading players in the establishment of the Chilean Retreaders Association, ARNEC.

    Jorge Crespo – Vaculug

    Jorge Crespo is the new Managing Director of UK retreader Vaculug, having assumed the role in June this year. He has been nominated due to his success in producing excellent sales results in the short period since his appointment and overseeing the creation of a new management team, all whilst coping with the difficulties posed by Covid and continuing to manage his existing role as head of the European arm of Zenises.

    Pascal Klein – Pyrum Innovations

    Pascal Klein is the Chairman of Pyrum Innovations AG, the Germany based pyrolysis company. Klein has led the company to a position where it is producing a stable and consistent output of pyrolysis black and oil, which has resulted in the company attracting substantial investment from BASF and a partnership with Michelin in the BlackCycle Project.

    Dmitriy Psenichnikov – OOO Shina

    Dmitriy Psenichnikov is the MD of OOO Shina, a tyre dealer and retreader based in Omsk, Siberia. A Bridgestone dealer, he is an expert in heavy truck and EM tyres, as well as having 20 years’ experience running a retread shop.

    Sudarsan Varadaraj – Elgi Rubber

    Sudarsan Varadaraj is the Executive chairman and Managing Director of Elgi Rubber Company, a position he has held since 2013. Over his long career with Elgi he has overseen the transformation of the Elgi Group from a regional player into a global supplier to the retreading industry with facilities in India, Europe, Brazil and the USA. He led the acquisition by Elgi of a number of key suppliers to the retreading sector including Pincott, Armonas, Jet, Carbrasive and Cincinatti Retread Systems, amongst others.
