Alexei Nicolini

CEO - Budini Inc

Alexei Nicolini is the current CEO at Budini Inc. The company is in constant development and innovation especially in relation to RFID. He is focusing on making sure their technologies are compatible with RFID technology. As for their retread plant, they still operate the same Bandag plant that they established in 1982. They have been leading in adding IT systems in their plants given the expertise they have in other parts of their business. They were the first to use iPads and touchscreens in the retreading process. Today they continue to maintain and evolve the plant.

Allen Timpany

CEO – Circtec

Nominated for building the funding for Circtec from a concept to the point of large scale production. Timpany has been involved in researching the tyre pyrolysis sector and has been instrumental in creating Circtec and in establishing a team to not only build the physical business but also attract the right investors prepared to go with the project for the longer term. It has taken some 15 years of perseverance and learning to bring Circtec from an idea to becoming the first at scale tyre pyrolysis operations in Europe

Fred Bonney

Director - GSL Tire Recycling

Fred Bonney is an outstanding leader as the director of GSL Tire Recycling, a company at the forefront of innovation and sustainability n the tyre recycling industry. Through his visionary leadership, Fred has propelled GSL Tire Recycling to new heights, fostering a culture of excellence, environmental responsibility, and customer satisfaction. Under Fred’s direction, GSL Tire Recycling has implemented cutting-edge recycling solutions, setting benchmarks for efficiency and eco-friendliness. Fred’s leadership prioritises both employee success and customer partnerships, creating an environment where everyone thrives. His dedication to continuous improvement and industry leadership has solifified GSL Tyre Recycling’s reputation as a trusted and innovative company.

Günter Ihle

Managing Director - Rigdon GmbH

Nominated for his skill positioning Rigdon at the forefront of technological development in the German retreading industry, especially in the area of automation, for his success in acquiring German government funding to build and develop a passenger retreading facility and for his commitment to support the AZuR Network to strengthen its position as a leading driver of sustainable developments in the German tyre sector

Haarjeev Kandhari

CEO – Vaculug Ltd

Haarjeev Kandhari is a serial entrepreneur and a larger than life figure in the UK tyre industry. He has been nominated for his vision in acquiring the UK retreader, Vaculug, and reinventing the company at the head of the drive towards increased sustainability in the retreading industry.
